Decanters for starch
Wheat starch
A- and B-starch, gluten, bran and protein coagulates may be produced with the help of centrifugal separating technologies. Three-phase decanters and three-phase nozzle separators may be employed in the classification, concentration, washing and water-removal processes.
Corn starch
Centrifugal separating technologies may be used in the shape of decanters in corn-starch production to remove water from the gluten and fine fibres.
Potato starch
Potato starch may be produced with decanters and three-phase nozzle separators. Decanters may be used for separating the amniotic fluids and removing water from pulp.
Root starch
Decanters may be used in the production of root starch (tapioca, manioc, cassava) to separate the amniotic fluids and to remove water from pulps.
Rice starch
Decanters may be used in rice-starch production to remove water from the starch.
